These Questions Are Your Gym

Some questions you answer, others you answer to. “How do you apply for a mortgage?” or “How do you make home-made yogurt?” or “What’s the capital of Hungary?” are questions you answer. Questions you “answer to” are deeper and more formative. “What’s most important right now?” or “Who do I need to become to achieve X?” or “What’s another true way that I could look at this situation in order to experience it differently?” are some of my favorites.

In coaching, we think of these kinds of questions as weights. You “lift” the question to build “muscle.” They create a workout for you to produce better results.

This week, I invite you to create your own gym by answering this question:

If I were only allowed five questions to ask myself regularly, what would they be?

God bless,
Dan
